- Riza drops off Paris at his tent and joins the party around the campfire and offers them hell booze

- She’s an erinyes who got her wings clipped by Zariel
- She shows the party her wing scars
- Pan shows off their newly acquired scars too (hot!)
- Fugue “attunes” to the Selûnite bracelet and asks forgiveness from Lady Shar
- Pan talks to their echo and also “Valour”
- “Valour” seeks vengeance against the royal blood
- Long rest
- Kaylin shouts, the ground beneath shaking, an attack is happening
- Tiel falls to her knees, Paris falls flat on his face, Juno also stumbles
- This seems to affect those who has been down here before?
- Hordes of flying monsters fly out — a few of them separate out and fly towards camp: a yian-garuga and a yian-kutku
- The place hasn’t changed (yet)
- Kaylin talks to Venus and reports what just happened
- Juno approaches Fugue and asks him who his god is
- Fugue lies and says it’s Kelemvor
- Eros does a little squint as he’s witnessing this unfold
- I forgot what Juno says here but he seems to believe the lie
- Fletcher wants to get the hell out of dodge and asks Tiel how
- The party says their goodbyes to Fletcher and wish her well
- Miette helps her leave
- Fletcher gets a lot of migraines and vomit black ooze and goes unconscious at the top
- The party also sees a flash of blue — a guy riding a dragon — separating from the horde

- The party gets some potions of resistance (poison)
- Fletcher also left us the following items:
- 1 potion of watchful rest
- 3 potions of greater healing
- 4 regular potions of healing
- 2 potions of hill giant strength
- 1 vial of voidmatter
- Flameroot, spiritshroom
- Goggles of object reading → Mal
- Eilidh’s immortal in the sixth layer
- temporary death as a voidmatter but will be reconstructed in the sixth layer
- Hex wanted to summon a shade of the goddess into the Material Plane
- Kaylin was chosen to be Lolth’s vessel

- The party follows the compass into an open chamber with a hole in the ground and a staircase down

- Going down through the staircase is endless unless it’s completely dark
- Pan turns off the fire sword
- No one else has darkvision except Pan
- So Pan closes their eyes and the party arrives at the cult entrance
- Door is ajar, Mal investigates
- Hallway is covered in webbing
- There’s a Nerscylla on the ceiling and a drow priestess (Rava) watching over a prisoner, Vyrna, chained to the wall
- she has a shaved head, wearing tattered leather from a carrion crawler carapace
- lips are jet black but with an hourglass shape of red
- three sets of eyes
- Everyone drinks the potion of poison resistance
- Mal attempts to sneak in and gets the drop on the priestess
- Vyrna gestures to her chains and Mal sends a Mage Hand to lockpick the chains
- Rava looks over at Vyrna and calls her a failure
- Vyrna threatens her: “You are such a fool to think that Lolth cares for such things.”
- Mal stabs her
- Roll initiative!
- Vyrna wildshapes into a spider
